Website Upgrades

THINKING. It's not something I do enough of, and it's something I'm doing a lot of right now. It's not often that I get shaken up with all my core values and fears dumped upside down by something, but I'm re-thinking a lot of things and one of them is that I need to be more honest with people if I want to maintain any kind of useful relationships, and that isn't easy for me.

One of the ways I want to do this is with an new website that includes blogging software. I've been thinking about this for a while, and I haven't gotten a single suggestion in the past seven months since I originally posted the idea. Right now, I will probably use WordPress or Movable Type. I don't want to have to install them to decide which I like, but I probably won't have a choice. My whole website needs to be moved to a new server too, so I'll just have to set anything back up again. It's a lot of work to back everything up first because there's more to this website than meets the surface. But it's progress. I'll do what I have to in order to fix this. My current methods for keeping in touch with people just aren't working. Facebook is ok as a directory, but its content management doesn't scale the way I need it to. I don't understand how everyone else has hundreds of friends, but they can't even see when I post something through all their clutter. I'm tired of it.
